Day 1
KAMCHATKA

Your adventure begins as you land in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky, the gateway to Kamchatka's wild beauty. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be greeted by your local guide who will provide a warm introduction to this remote peninsula. You'll then be transferred to a comfortable hotel in the city, where you can unwind after your journey. Spend the evening relaxing or take a short stroll around the area to soak in the coastal ambiance and volcanic landscapes that surround the city.

Day 2
JOURNEY TO SOUTH KAMCHATKA FEDERAL NATURE RESERVE

Rise early to begin your expedition to the South Kamchatka Federal Nature Reserve. Your transport for the day is a Kamaz shift truck, robust and suited for the rugged roads ahead. The journey will take you along the picturesque coast of the Sea of Okhotsk, with views of wild cliffs, misty waters, and untamed landscapes. By evening, you'll arrive in the village of Pauzhetka, located at the edge of the reserve. Here, you'll settle into the guest house grounds, which feature a sauna and swimming pool—perfect for a relaxing soak after the day’s travel. Overnight accommodation will be in tents, setting the stage for a true wilderness experience.

Day 3
KURIL LAKE AND BEAR ENCOUNTERS

Embark on a scenic journey to Kuril Lake, one of the world's best locations for observing brown bears in their natural habitat. Upon arrival at the Ozerny cardon on the lake's shore, you'll assist in ensuring the cardon's safety by removing bears that may wander too close to sensitive areas, such as the fish survey fence. Settle into permanent tents at the Ozerny cordon, surrounded by an electric fence to protect against the curious wildlife. From your campsite, bears can often be seen wandering freely, offering unparalleled photo opportunities directly from your tent.

Day 4 - 7
WILDLIFE PHOTOGRAPHY AT KURIL LAKE

Each day begins early, with breakfast at 7 AM before setting out for morning and afternoon photography sessions. A motor catamaran will transport you across Kuril Lake to prime bear-watching spots, where you’ll disembark to capture these magnificent creatures in action. With lunchboxes and thermoses in hand, you'll spend your days photographing bears fishing for salmon, wandering the lake’s shores, and playing in their natural habitat. The vibrant backdrop of Kuril Lake’s volcanic caldera and abundant wildlife will make each shot unforgettable. Evenings are spent resting at the Ozerny cordon’s campsite, with ample time to reflect on the day’s adventures.

Day 8
KURIL LAKE | PAUZHETKA

After a final morning of bear photography in the Ozerny cardon vicinity, you'll enjoy lunch before beginning the journey back to Pauzhetka. By evening, you'll return to the guest house, where the sauna and swimming pool provide a chance to unwind after a week of wilderness exploration.

Day 9
PAUZHETKA | PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY

Prepare for another scenic ride in the Kamaz truck, retracing your steps to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. Upon arrival, you'll check into your hotel for a well-earned rest. The evening is yours to relax or take a leisurely stroll through the city.

KAMCHATKA

Embark on a sea excursion to view rugged coastal cliffs and marine wildlife.
