Photo Diary: Ethiopia 2019
Located in the heart of East Africa, Ethiopia shares her borders with six countries (Eritrea, Djibouti, Somalia, Kenya, South Sudan and Sudan) and is known for its extreme landscapes that as a result, offers a varied climate that doesn’t adhere to the usual rules of that of a country located so close to the equator. The population is made up of the Oromo, Amhara, Simali, Tigraway, Sidama, Gurage and Wolayta people, with the Oromo ethnic group forming the largest chunk of the pie. During our last trip, we had the chance to visit some villages and spend some time with the natives, who kindly showed us their traditional dress. We also saw some pretty intense wildlife (scroll for more), and some bizarre but spectacular scenery.
