From Norway to Spain and Portugal to Ukraine, summer is arguably the best time to visit Europe. The weather is at its finest, the days are long, the wine is cheap and there are plenty of activities to engage in. However, it is also the most expensive and crowded time of the year to visit, which is why we think the best times to visit are actually the months that fringe mid-July to end-August. We’ve been wandering around the region for a bit since June – and the crowds are already starting to come in! We’re not quite done with exploring Europe just yet, but in the meanwhile, here are the pics to prove it happened.

Boasting a host of unique landscapes, from impressive mountain ranges to sparkling rivers, Provence is a wonderful part of France to visit if you ever have the chance! Not only is it home to miles of vineyards, the weather is usually quite mild, and doesn’t get too cold even after the summer. There is plenty to do too; visit Florence and experience incredible art, or witness her famous lavender fields in all their glory. Provence is where dishes like beef daube (stew), ratatouille and Bouillabaisse originate from, so you won’t lack for good food either!
