Upon Arrival to Barcelona Airport in the morning, we will proceed to to clear the immigration customs. After retrieving the luggages, we will transfer to Barcelona Sants Railway Station for a 3 hours train journey to Madrid.
This afternoon we will proceed to the hotel for check in and begin our sunset shoot in Madrid.
We will wake up early in the morning for a sunrise shot in the city, follow by a quick breakfast. We walk and roam around some of the main attractions in the city. Depending on the weather, we will try to capture as much locations as we can.
Lunch will be served in the oldest restaurant in the world according to Guinness World Records and it is founded in 1725.
Thereafter we will proceed to Toledo for a sunset shoot. After the shoot, we will proceed for dinner at 9pm.
A free and easy morning for everyone you may roam around and discover the old town of Toledo. After lunch, we will proceed to drive about 3 hours to the border of Spain. We will do a sunset shoot at a castle ruin in this area. Tonight we will have our dinner and rest in a boutique hotel.
This morning we will wake up at 2am for a Milky Way shoot. We will finish the shoot by 4am and return to hotel for a rest.
Breakfast will be in the hotel at your own timing. We will proceed to checkout and travel towards Portugal at around 11am. The journey will take about 4 hours. We will find a restaurant on the way.
Upon reaching Porto, we will proceed to check into our apartments. We will be staying here for 2 nights.
A short rest before we proceed to take our sunset and blue hour photos at River Douro.
Early in the morning, you are free to roam around the historic old town. There are many places that you can explore by walking. Breakfast is not included in our stay. Well, I prefer to grab a nice pastry in a local bakery shop and sit by the road side cafe to wait for the tram to pass by.
The old town is very easy to explore, and we will do a quick introduction in the morning. Lunch will be on your own, as everyone's pace and shooting interests are different. The whole afternoon and evening will be yours to explore.
We will meet for dinner at a restaurant near our hotel.
Early in the morning, we will proceed to Azenhas do Mar. On the way, we will pass by Aveiro and Nazare. We shall stop along the way to make some photographs in these area. If we are lucky, we get the big waves in Nazare.
Sunset shoot will be at the viewpoint in Azenhas do Mar.
After a hearty breakfast, we will go to the Westernmost Point of Continental Europe before we drive to the next location and hike up to the viewpoint for National Palace of Pena.
Our sunset shoot will a panoramic view of Lisbon.
The whole day, we will be exploring the charming city by walking and public transport.
Early in the morning, we will depart from our hotel and head to Algrave. The journey will take about 3 hrs.
We will visit several locations in this area for some seascape shots.
We will start off our morning by capturing a sunrise shot of the coastal beach in Portugal. After breakfast, we will set off to Seville where we will visit the giant and colorful Plaza de España which appears in Star Wars.
Spain has some truly magnificent examples of castle architecture – however, true alcazars are something a little different. Alcazars tend to be inspired by Moorish architecture, and were often built upon the remnants of 13th century Moorish fortresses.
Gibraltar is a British Overseas Territory and headland, on Spain's south coast. It’s dominated by the Rock of Gibraltar, a 426m-high limestone ridge. If time permits, we will cross into UK and back to Spain in the same day.
After our breakfast, we will proceed to a charming white town of Mjas. We will spend our morning here to explore and discover the picturesque small alleys. After Lunch, we will drive to Cordoba for our sunset shoot.
The Great Mosque of Córdoba is one of the oldest structures still standing from the time Muslims ruled Al-Andalus in the late 8th century. We will explore the old town before we travel to the next city - Granada.
In the morning, we will visit The Alhambra in Granada. The Alhambra is an irregularly shaped walled complex that has been a palace, fortress and medina. Its richly decorated interiors are considered to be the height of Andalusian art. The most impressive ornamentation is found in the honeycombed domes in the Sala de los Abencerrajes and the Sala de las Dos Hermanas.
In the evening, we will shoot sunset in one of the most beautiful town - Campo de Criptana.
After Breakfast, we will set off to Albarracín. The journey takes about 3.5 hrs to reach.
Albarracín is a unique place. Taking promenades along this town, walking along the city wall and stepping into its monuments is like traveling to Medieval. The former capital of a Moorish kingdom (Taifa), the small town of Albarracín has preserved all its Islamic and mediaeval flavour.
Early in the morning, we will depart the town and head for Valencia. A place full of contrasts awaits the visitor with a charming old town next to futuristic buildings.
The whole morning is yours to explore the city of Valencia. We will check out the hotel and travel to Peniscola for an evening shoot.
Ainsa - The village, which was the capital of the old Kingdom of Sobrarbe, and was later incorporated into the Kingdom of Aragon in the 11th century, constitutes a magnificent example of medieval urban development.
The village of Alquézar is a small town standing on the rocks in Aragon, north of Spain. It invites you to step back in time through a relaxing promenade along narrow streets of cobblestones.
We will explore the Aragon region in the morning, before we head to Pamplona for an overnight stay.
Santander, in the north of Spain, is a combination of green mountain landscapes with white sand beaches, elegant mansions and palatial architecture with avant-garde buildings and the unmistakeable echo of its seafaring past.
Early morning sunrise shoot by the coastal area. After breakfast, we will head toward Bilbao for a 3 star michelin experience - Azurmendi Restaurant.
Sunset will be in San Sebastian at a lookout point overseeing the entire city.
We will cross the border into France. Saint Pied de Port is a small town in Southern France.
After a short visit to the town, we will proceed to Arcachon Bay. Cap Ferret - A quiet little village whose biggest claims to fame are its booming oyster farming industry and its magnificent view across the Arcachon Bay to the towering Dune du Pilat, Europe’s tallest sand dune.
We will explore Bordeaux and its surrounding small town.
Early in the morning, we will depart Bordeaux for Lourdes.
The Roman Catholic Church recognized Lourdes as a holy place in 1862 and Bernadette's visions of Mary in a cave as authentic. Saint Bernadette was canonized in 1933, as patron of the sick, and Lourdes emerged as one of the premier pilgrimage sites in the world.
After a short tour in Lourdes, we will proceed to Toulouse for our sunset shoot.
Located on the Costa Brava, near the border with South West France and a couple of hours away from Barcelona, Cadaquès is not only one of the cutest small towns in Spain but in the whole of Europe! It is particularly known for having been home to the eccentric Spanish painter, Salvador Dalí.
Girona is home to a well-preserved Jewish quarter, ancient winding streets, and a walkable medieval city wall. Girona is more famous today thanks to Game of Thrones being filmed there.
From Gaudí to Messi, towering architecture to towers built of people, visiting the sea to gorging on produce, Barcelona’s to-do list is as plentiful as its sunny days. It's a city that seamlessly melds the medievally old with the most modern spectacles.
Sagrada Família is famous for being one of the most iconic examples of Antoni Gaudí's unique style, combining elements of Art Nouveau, Catalan Modernism and Spanish Late Gothic design.
