Tour Itinerary
Day 1 | SINGAPORE | SAIGON | CAN THO

Depart Singapore for Saigon, where your Vietnam photography journey begins. Upon arrival, meet the local team and continue overland towards Can Tho, the main city of the Mekong Delta. The journey introduces the changing landscapes of southern Vietnam as the busy city gradually gives way to rice fields, waterways, fruit-growing areas and rural communities. Arrive in Can Tho and check in to the hotel. The evening is kept at a comfortable pace, allowing time to rest and prepare cameras for the early floating market photography session the following morning.
Meals: Dinner
Day 2 | CAN THO | DONG THAP

Later in the day, transfer to Dong Thap, a region known for its wetlands, agricultural landscapes and seasonal flowers. Check in and prepare for the following morning’s water lilies photography session.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 3 | DONG THAP | VUNG TAU

Depart early for a seasonal water lilies photography session in Dong Thap. Photograph local people travelling through the wetlands in traditional boats surrounded by colourful lilies and natural vegetation. The flowers, reflective water and rural setting provide excellent opportunities for environmental portraits, landscape photography and aerial compositions.
Different scenes may be created as the boats move through the flowers and local people gather the lilies. The exact photography programme will depend on the seasonal condition of the flowers, weather and water levels.
After the morning photography session, return for breakfast before leaving Dong Thap. Continue overland towards Vung Tau, passing through agricultural areas and rural communities along the way.
The scenery gradually changes as the journey leaves the wetlands of the Mekong Delta and approaches the southern coastline. Arrive in Vung Tau in the late afternoon and check in to the hotel. The evening is reserved for rest and preparation for the following morning’s sunrise session.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 4 | VUNG TAU | MUI NE

Photograph salt workers beginning their day as the first light spreads across the open landscape. Depending on local working conditions, workers may be seen gathering, carrying and arranging salt into white mounds.
The reflections, repeating patterns and contrast between the workers and the bright salt fields create strong opportunities for documentary and landscape photography.
Continue to a coastal village to photograph traditional dried seafood production. Capture local workers cleaning, sorting and arranging seafood under the sun. The rows of seafood, baskets, working tools and village surroundings provide colourful patterns, interesting textures and authentic scenes of coastal life.
After completing the morning photography sessions, continue along the coast towards Mui Ne. Arrive and check in before taking a short break.
In the late afternoon, head to the white sand dunes for sunset photography. Explore the sweeping dune formations, wind-created patterns and changing shadows across the sand. Photograph the landscape as the warm evening light transforms the colour and texture of the dunes.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 5 | MUI NE | PHAN RANG

Begin the day with a coastal sunrise photography session. Photograph the first light over the sea, coastal landscapes and the morning activities of local fishermen, depending on local conditions.
After breakfast, leave Mui Ne and continue north towards Phan Rang. Make photography stops at traditional craft communities along the way. Visit a local rice paper workshop and photograph the production process, from preparing and steaming the mixture to placing the finished rice paper on woven trays to dry. The repetitive shapes, backlighting and hands-on work provide excellent documentary photography opportunities. Continue to a traditional fish sauce production area. Photograph the working environment, storage vessels and the people involved in producing one of Vietnam’s most important ingredients.
In the Phan Rang region, visit a Cham pottery community where artisans continue to shape clay by hand using traditional methods passed down through generations. Photograph the pottery-making process, finished pieces and portraits of the craftspeople. The day also includes a visit to an important Cham cultural site, offering opportunities to photograph its distinctive architecture, decorative details and spiritual atmosphere.
Conclude the day at a traditional fishing village. Photograph fishing boats, nets, fishermen and everyday coastal life during the softer late-afternoon light.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 6 | PHAN RANG | DALAT

Begin the morning with a visit to a countryside sheep farm near Phan Rang. Photograph the sheep, shepherds and surrounding rural landscape during the softer morning light. The open countryside provides opportunities for animal photography, environmental portraits and wider images showing everyday farm life. After the visit, begin the journey towards Dalat. The scenery gradually changes as the road climbs away from the dry coastal region and enters the cooler, greener landscapes of the Central Highlands.
Stop at tea plantations and selected countryside viewpoints along the way. The carefully cultivated rows of tea create strong leading lines and repeating patterns, while the surrounding hills offer beautiful highland scenery. Depending on the activity during the visit, there may also be opportunities to photograph plantation workers and local agricultural life.
Upon arrival in Dalat, check in to the hotel. Depending on the arrival time, enjoy a relaxed city photography session featuring local streets, markets, architecture and the evening atmosphere of this popular highland city.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Day 7 | DALAT | CENTRAL HIGHLANDS

Depart before dawn for a sunrise photography session in the Dalat highlands. Photograph the first light moving across hills, valleys and agricultural landscapes. Depending on the weather, the scenery may feature morning mist, layered hills and soft light over the surrounding countryside.
After breakfast, leave Dalat and continue through the Central Highlands towards a private photography area. The mountain journey passes plantations, forests and rural communities, with selected photography stops made according to the available light and local conditions. Arrive at the private location and prepare for a specially arranged elephant photography session in the late afternoon.
During the golden hour, photograph the elephant within its natural highland surroundings. The session will include a variety of compositions, from wider environmental photographs to closer portraits and carefully arranged scenes with its handler.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
