Itinerary

Day 1
CAIRO

Our Egypt tour will be running simultaneously with our Jordan photo tour. Each tour is on it's own, and you have the flexibility to combine them. This means that you have the opportunity to join us in exploring the wonders of both countries in one seamless experience. You will be able to witness the unique history and culture of Egypt and capture stunning photos of the iconic landmarks in Jordan.

 


 

On arrival in Cairo, the rhythm of Egypt greets you immediately. Stepping off the plane, you’ll complete the simple arrival formalities and, with your passport stamped, be whisked away by a private, air-conditioned vehicle. The city’s energy surrounds you as you head to the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino, a regal oasis set along the Nile in Zamalek. Once a royal palace, the hotel’s lush gardens and ornate interiors invite you to unwind from the journey and settle into the timeless atmosphere of Egypt’s capital.

In the late afternoon, we will visit the streets of Cairo. Our photography tour will take us to El-Moez Street, starting from Bab Al-Futuh in the north and ending at Bab Zuweila in the south. This street is one of the most important in Cairo and its northern part extends from the Al-Hakim mosque to the spice market in Al Azhar Street, while its southern part extends from the Ghuriya complex to the Bab Zuweila. Our tour of the street will allow us to experience the hustle and bustle of Cairo, see its vibrant street life, and capture some amazing photographs.

Day 2
CAIRO

After a refreshing breakfast, you’ll embark on your first foray into ancient Egypt. Saqqara awaits, where the Step Pyramid of Djoser rises from the sands—an architectural marvel that marks humanity’s first attempt at pyramid building. Walking these grounds, you’ll sense the echoes of ancient ceremony and innovation. Later, the Grand Egyptian Museum will sweep you through millennia, from the golden treasures of Tutankhamun to the intricate artifacts that have survived countless centuries. The exhibits, beautifully curated and displayed, allow you to come face-to-face with relics that shaped history. Returning to your hotel, you’ll have the afternoon to reflect on today’s discoveries, perhaps over tea in the palace’s tranquil gardens.

Day 3
CAIRO

We will be embarking on a unique and exciting journey to explore the ancient and magnificent pyramids of Giza. Our first stop will be to witness the breathtaking sunrise and take advantage of the beautiful early morning light for some stunning photography opportunities. Our knowledgeable cameleer guide will accompany us and lead us through the various sites, allowing us to capture the essence of the area in all its glory. We will visit the Pyramids of Giza, Sphinx and the Giza Plateau for a chance to admire these magnificent structures up close. Our guide will also provide us with special access to areas that are not typically open to the public, giving us an even more in-depth experience.

In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to view all 6 pyramids during the sunset and capture the warm glow of the setting sun as it illuminates the ancient monuments. This is a rare opportunity to see the pyramids in a different light and make memories that will last a lifetime. We will leave no stone unturned in our quest to make the most of this once in a lifetime opportunity, and our guide will be on hand to answer any questions and provide us with a wealth of knowledge about the area.

By the end of the day, we will have captured some truly spectacular images and gained a deeper appreciation for the beauty and wonder of the pyramids of Giza. We will then make our way back to Cairo, having experienced an unforgettable adventure and a rich cultural experience.

Day 4
CAIRO | ASWAN

We will embark on an exciting journey to Aswan with an early morning flight. Upon arrival, we will be greeted by a warm transfer to our van that will take us to Abu Simbel. This stunning temple, located on the western bank of Lake Nasser, is a magnificent work of ancient engineering and will be the focus of the group's photographic adventures for the day. As the sun sets and the temple is bathed in the warm glow of the late afternoon sun, our group will have the opportunity to capture the essence of this magnificent structure with our cameras. As the day comes to a close, we will experience the unforgettable Sound and Light show, which will bring the temple to life with a stunning display of lights and music. This unforgettable experience is sure to leave a lasting impression and will be one of the highlights of our journey to Aswan.

Day 5
ASWAN

Our exciting adventure in Aswan will begin after a nourishing breakfast. We will embark on a journey in a comfortable van, taking in the beautiful scenery and capturing moments along the way of the local people and villages. This will be an ideal opportunity for photographers to snap pictures of the unique cultures and ways of life in this region. In the late afternoon, we will embark on a unique experience, taking a Felucca or motorboat ride to a Nubian village. This will be an excellent opportunity to interact with the local community and capture images of their homes, crafts, and traditions. As the sun sets, we will head over to the Temple of Isis in Philae to witness a magical sunset. This temple, located on an island, is a testament to the rich history and culture of this region. To conclude our day, we will enjoy a delicious dinner at a Nubian restaurant, sampling the local cuisine and experiencing the warm hospitality of the locals. This will be a day filled with beautiful memories, fascinating experiences, and delightful moments that we will cherish forever.

Day 6
ASWAN | LUXOR

After breakfast, your journey continues north to Kom Ombo, where you’ll explore one of Egypt’s most unusual temples—dedicated to both Sobek, the crocodile god, and Haroeris, the falcon god. The symmetry of the twin sanctuaries and their views over the Nile make for striking photographs. Driving onward, you’ll arrive in Luxor, the heart of ancient Thebes. The day culminates with a visit to Luxor Temple, glowing golden in the late afternoon light. The colonnades and statues create an unforgettable first impression of this extraordinary city. Your hotel, the Steigenberger Nile Palace, promises comfort and river views as you settle in for the night.

Day 7
LUXOR

Begin the day with the option of a sunrise hot air balloon flight—an ethereal experience as you float silently over Luxor’s West Bank, the Nile sparkling below and ancient temples emerging from the mist. After breakfast, you’ll delve into the Valley of the Kings, where the tombs of pharaohs lie hidden beneath the cliffs, their walls adorned with vivid hieroglyphs. The Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, set against a dramatic limestone backdrop, tells the story of Egypt’s powerful female ruler. Later, the vast Karnak Temple Complex awaits, where you’ll wander beneath towering columns in the famed Hypostyle Hall, feeling the weight and wonder of thousands of years of history. The evening is yours to relax and savor the atmosphere of ancient Luxor.

Day 8
LUXOR | CAIRO

After breakfast, you’ll say farewell to Luxor and catch a flight back to Cairo. Returning to the familiar elegance of the Cairo Marriott Hotel & Omar Khayyam Casino, you’ll have the chance to revisit favorite corners of the city or simply soak in the ambiance of the palace grounds one last time. The evening is yours—perhaps for a final stroll along the Nile or a quiet dinner under the stars.

CAIRO

Our schedule for the day is to depart after having breakfast, with a free and easy itinerary until it is time to take the flight back home. You will have some leisure time to do as you please, whether it be exploring the surroundings, shopping, or just relaxing. The flight back home will bring a close to this wonderful trip. Enjoy the day until it's time to take the flight back home.
